Registration and account data:
  • Email address — to issue and manage your licence and communicate about your account (legal basis: performance of a contract)
  • Name — to personalise your licence and correspondence
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store card details
  • Purchase record and licence key — to verify your licence entitlement
Licence verification data (collected periodically by the Software):
  • Licence key — to confirm the licence is valid
  • Anonymised machine identifier — to enforce the machine limit on Paid Licences
  • Software version — to confirm compatibility
  • Approximate IP-derived country — to detect licence sharing

We do not collect your full IP address, your DAW or host application, the audio you produce, or any other usage information.

Support and correspondence:
  • Content of support messages and your email address, used solely to respond to your query.

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Our licence server hosting provider (under data processing agreements)
  • Legal and regulatory authorities where required by law

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Account and licence data: duration of licence plus 6 years
  • Payment records: 6 years (UK tax law requirement)
  • Support correspondence: 2 years from last contact
  • Licence verification logs: 90 days rolling

5. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erasure (subject to legal obligations), restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable.
